If it takes a village...

(My thanks to Frundock for downloads of the scans from the comic, and for a description of the comic that I am adapting.  Any inaccuracies are mine, so don't blame him!  My translations are in bold text.)
This comes from Volume 8 of the French language comic version of Cybersix.  Cybersix has decided, after having had her blood analyzed and found to be harmless, that it's about time to get serious with Lucas.  He's been having bad luck with the ladies, and positively horrible luck with her  for about seven volumes, so it's about time!
Meanwhile, Jose has decided to take up the family business of genetic experimentation, and his first monster is a sort of patchwork, similar to Frankenstein's monster.  However, his monster is pretty intelligent, and notices that beings come in pairs.  He feels lonely, so he asks Jose for a mate.  Jose decides to kill two birds with one stone, literally, by suggesting that the monster capture Cybersix and Data 7 so that he, Jose, could fashion a mate for his monster.
The monster easily catches Data 7 and locks him in a cage.  He then hunts down and eventually captures Cybersix.  However, when the monster sniffs at Cybersix, he says that he can't take her in, since she would be killed, and he doesn't want to kill the innocent life inside of her.  He tells her where to find Data 7, and departs.
Cybersix frees Data 7 ("That's it, you're free Data 7")
("Do you believe that I could truly be expecting a baby?)
Data 7 can't comment.  However, Cybersix goes to bed, obviously happy about the prospect...
But the morning brings doubts. (But...is it true?  Or maybe...)
Well, there's just one way to make sure.  Cybersix decides to take the risk and visit the  hospital for a work-up.  She's worried that the doctor may see something that Lucas' scientist friend may have missed...

Upper left corner: His eyes are riveted to that paper, and he hasn't said a word. 
Lower left corner: Finally. He has probably discovered that I am a monster...)


("Good day, madame, and congratulations!  You're going to have a baby!")
What a rollercoaster!  She's gone from being terrified that she's been discovered, to finding out that she's going to be a mother!  I've seen that look on my wife's face three times, and I know the feeling!
In fact, she's so happy, she just HAS to share the joy with SOMEBODY, who happens to be this street person.
("I actually hugged his neck!  I am INSANE with joy!"
How has this news changed her?  That night, she goes hunting for Technos, and comes across this little girl, who's obviously lost.  Cybersix decides to help.  The girl is a bit amazed at Cybersix, and has probably asked her "Are you a REAL woman?"

My translation says it all...
("You said it.  I am a real woman.  And I am very happy that it's so.  Are you lost?  What happened to you? Can I help you?")
Hilary Rodham Clinton, the former First Lady (sic) of the United States said that, "It takes a village to raise a child."  Well, if my boys got lost and needed help,  I'd sooner trust them to this caring and expectant woman in leather, than the incredible creature New York City sent to the Senate.
