Paradise
Falling...
Apocalypse Watcher started a topic on
the Cybersix Arts and Lits Board on which alternative universes would "work"
for Cybersix. That is, how would the world of Meridiana and Cybersix
be changed if something different had happened in history? I was inspired
to write about one such alternative universe. This story is the result.

While writing this series, I decided to
create an alternate branch in this alternate reality (I'm a programmer.
Recursion is in my blood.). I have labelled the two branches the
"light" branch and the "dark" branch.
The Dark Branch has been completed. I want to thank all my readers at the Cybersix and Cyberstation message boards and at FanFiction.net who have borne with my lengthly tale while I was creating it, and were kind enough to comment on it.
The muse has finally awarded me with the ideas necessary to continue the Light Branch, which I have already started. As always, I'd like to know your opinion, as well as the comments of any new fans of Cybersix who have stopped by here. Your comments to me via E-mail, reviews submitted at fanfiction.net, or via the Cybersix Message Board will be welcomed and appreciated.

I found it impossible to write the story
without including some of the characters created by the fans of Cybersix.
At the time I wrote this (12/2000 to 1/2002), the following characters
either already had stories written about them, or were explained well enough
by their author so that I could write them into the story with their approval.

creativity, and for the trust they put in me to treat the children of their
imaginations with as much respect as I would my own sons.

The preface is located in chapter 1. It's a fork off the "Paradise Falling..." AR, but at a much earlier time. Thus, this describes a story where the events of "Paradise Falling..." will never take place.

Author's Apology for all His Fan Fictions
My apologies in advance for being so wordy. It is the only way I know to accomplish my goal of keeping Cybersix and her world alive so that my boys can enjoy them in the same way that I have when they are mature enough to look past the minor exterior details to see and appreciate the heart and soul of a person or artistic work.
When that day comes, I will know that I will have succeeded as a father and as a citizen.
